I’m all for respecting other peoples’ religions, even if I’m not religious myself. I would never push any religion on anyone else. In fact, I don’t think we should have religions at all. But this is all just crazy to me. Get over it. Holidays, in my opinion, are a time to spend with family, and be good towards each other. The decorations and secular aspects are just for fun. Get over it.
I agree with you Megan. (Sorry I had to shorten your post because it wouldn’t fit in my description box T_T) But honestly from what it sounds like she wants to break away from her religion and have fun and probably wants someone to blame if she gets caught having fun. I hate and try very hard not to take part in religious events because I feel like it’s corrupted or it’s an excuse to put our problems somewhere else. :( I hope your problem gets solved!
